McCreary is now hiring youth to join Cohort 10 of the Youth Research Academy (YRA). As part of the YRA, youth will be supported by McCreary staff to learn community-based research skills, and will work on research projects focused on the health of youth in and from government care.
These positions are open to any youth ages 16 to 27 who have experience in the government care system. Interested applicants must live in BC and be eligible to work in Canada. YRA Cohort 10 will run from September 4, 2025 - May 28, 2026. Hours of work are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM, with occasional additional hours. Pay is $20.00 per hour. This is an in-person position and will be based at McCreary Centre Society (3552 East Hastings St, Vancouver, BC).
All training will be provided, and no previous research or work experience is needed.
