Next Steps

The Next Steps is an interactive youth friendly workshop or workshop series used to take the results of McCreary research back to young people across the province.

Using what they have learned about youth health in their local community and about protective factors, youth then design and deliver a project to improve health in their community.

Youth Advisory & Action Council (YAC)

Youth Engagement Resources

Meaningful youth engagement involves recognizing and nurturing the strengths, interests, and abilities of young people through the provision of real opportunities to become involved in decisions that affect them at individual and systemic levels. These resources come from our youth engagement projects, and are available to help to support youth participation in programs and decision making. Each of the projects included youth involvement in varying capacities, either in consultation in designing the project, youth staff employed, and/or youth producing the final results.
